NICE TO [UN]MEET YOU is an archival publication of which documents objects I have received from people I no longer have relations to. Looking through an obsessive lens, the project is one that shows a progression of growth and letting go, primarily with the aid of the 6 months it took to produce this piece.

“People are social beings; and with 7 billion in the world, it is no surprise that not all the people we meet stay with us throughout our lifetime. Whether through proactive means or naturally overtime, distancing away from particular others is part of the process of life It may feel surreal to think that the person who you hold dearly in your heart right now could become a stranger in a matter of moments. Yet to fear what has not happened will ultimately make such predictions almost certain to become true in the end. A few instances documented in this publication are evidence of such. Some partings have been full of grief, some less of, but it must be known that to forget the pains and sorrows of now is to forget the joys that came before.
