“One of my fondest memories is spending the afternoons looking through the photos my dad would take as we were growing up. Printed on 4x6’ glossy paper, we had drawers and boxes filled with them, neatly stored in the envelopes they would come in. My dad’s photos were always amazing in my eyes. And his camera, his minolta dynax 500si, made me excited to someday start producing my own photographs with my own camera. At that time, i could only dream of doing so.Here I am now, at 21 years old, using dad’s camera to create the photos in this series.Thank you dad starting the dream.” -Foreword in the Publication

Made to look like the envelopes full of prints I would see as a child, Photos From Home is revisit to the times of when I could only dream of taking my own photos and pursuing the arts. As a recent graduate of Central Saint Martins, my dream school at the time, the photos celebrate the achievement of ‘living the dream’. Taken on my father’s camera, the exact one that was used whilst I was growing up, the series is a collection of 24 exposures by myself and my father over the years, exploring the home and the South-East London neighbourhood I grew up in.
